In the meantime, consider getting our Penny Package which includes gown storage until alterations begin, an upgraded garment bag, and an additional “aisle-ready” steam the week of your wedding! We also carry mother of the bride dresses in all styles whether fitted or flowy, sleeves, sleeveless, simple, extravagant! We recommend that brides start shopping for their wedding gown a year out from their wedding and when they have a venue chosen. This provides ample time to shop and align your dress with the look and feel of your venue. Our wedding gowns take 4-6 months to arrive and we suggest leaving 12-14 weeks for alterations. Once you have booked your dream venue and are ready to start wedding dress shopping, book an appointment with us! We would love nothing more than to help you find your dream wedding dress and be a part of your most special day.
We suggest bringing those who matter most to be there but keep in mind too many opinions can work against you. While we don’t have a cap, 4-5 people is typically a good number!
Yes, of course! We know how important it is to see how your gown will photograph and while we do allow photos, we limit it to the top 3 dresses toward the end of your appointment. This is when we add the magic of accessories so you can really envision your perfect wedding day look.
Yes, we are appointment-only at Penny Jane Bridal! All of our appointments are completely private because we believe you should be the focus on such an important day. You will have the whole shop to yourself for a 2-hour personalized appointment. You can make it your own private party or a laid back experience, completely up to you!
Because we run by private appointment only, we feel the experience we provide is equivalent to what other shops charge $500 for. At Penny Jane Bridal, we take pride in providing a completely private and personalized experience where every bride is a VIP. There is a $30 fee at the time of your bridal appointment booking. This fee will be applied toward your gown when you purchase your dream dress on the same day as your initial appointment. If you cancel less than 48 hours before or your appointment is not attended, your $30 fee will not be refunded and you will be charged for that amount.
At Penny Jane Bridal, we strive to offer something for every bride and have wedding gowns that fit every budget starting at $875 all the way up to $5,200. The average price is between $1,300-$1,800 for a wedding gown. We also offer payment plans, making your dream gown that much more accessible! Our carefully curated selection includes designers you won’t see in other shops.

You most certainly can! We kindly ask no red wine, but you are more than welcome to pop the bubbly or sip while you browse! Feel free to bring champagne or white wine and light snacks. We have a kitchenette area where you can put any snacks or beverages. We also have complimentary soda, water, tea, coffee, and candy on hand if you need a little pick me up.

We have so many dresses so if you don’t find the one, we would love for you to come back! The average bride tries on 10-15 dresses at their appointment and we carry over 400 bridal gowns and over 300 mother of the bride gowns. Return appointments are not charged.

We offer a beautiful collection of over 200 mother of the bride dresses for every mom! We hear it every day that moms don’t want to look like their own mother but not too young either! We offer dress styles for every mom! All of our appointments are completely private, so book your personalized appointment with mom now!
We do! In appreciation of all of the women who choose careers to support others, we offer a 10% discount to all military personnel, education professionals, and first responders on their dress order. For terms and conditions of this offer, please refer to your bridal stylist who can give additional information.
When you arrive at Penny Jane Bridal, you will notice there are two parking lots for our building. Parking in the lot located across the street from the building directory is most convenient (next to the yellow house with green shutters). Our shop has direct access to the outside and does not have interior building access. If you can see the Scales Restaurant, you are in the wrong lot.

We do! We work with the Wedding Gown Preservation Company, a family-run business that has been operating for over 100 years and places the highest degree of professional care. The entire wedding gown preservation process typically spans from 2 to 10 weeks after the gown is received. Every gown is evaluated to determine the best process for cleaning. All dress cleaning methods are safe, organic, and gentle. The processing time may be extended if it is during the busy season or additional repairs are requested.
